Everything Zen, Everything Zen, Everything Zen

To start it off bluntly Bank of America sucks. Heading to BECU soon for my money handling needs.

Things are going well. Lots to do and for the 1 to 3 things that go wrong there's about 35-40 that go right.

This weather has been a bit crazy. Worried about flooding but enjoying the colors especially the ones I see outside the bedroom window when I wake up in the morning.

Great view and didn't have to pay extra for it, woo!

Holidays are coming up and apparently it has my mom a bit tripped out. Apparently she's never dealt with either of her children having girlfriends who have families interested in spending time with their boyfriends as well as being in the same state. Confused? I was momentarily.

It'll be fun though. Never can complain about lots of food to munch and people to hang out with.

What's on your list this year? Other than Dragon Age : Origins I don't really have one. Actually that's not true there's a ton of stuff for the house but I'd rather get it myself instead of trust other tastes to pick. yuck. Nothing like wrong furniture/stuff + hurt feelings of others.

Anyways just having a quick babblethon, quite excited about the holiday events the city has planned for after Thanksgiving.

Hmm go shopping with a bunch of vicious soccermoms vying for the best deal or sip hot apple cider and watch fireworks go off while lights are being lit? mmm yeah i'll go with the latter.

First weekend in the house

Whew that was quite an excursion to move.

Many thanks to David, Travis and all the others who graciously assisted and kicked major rear in loading up the truck.

Bye-bye Lake City Way indeed.

The kitchen still isn't completely unpacked, which is thankfully among the last bits that need to be done.

I think I destroyed my desktop in transit which is a fair frustration but I have a secondary I can use for the time being.

The house is freaking huge. So much space. So much, in fact, that I completely forgot about another bedroom upstairs.

Really must find suitable fridge (and believe me, I've been looking.) along with washer/dryer. While it's fun to 'rough it', it'd be nice to have that all in place. Guess I just need to prepare to drop $2,500 on a fridge. Ouch.

It won't rain all the time

Or so I hope.

I'm a homeowner now. I get the keys tomorrow.

I get back to the office and found out my dear friend Carly's sister died in their bathtub last night, drowned while on heroin.

I find out my boss's father was found murdered. he'd been missing for 15 years.

1 good, 2 bad.

Not the best odds but when life happens, life really happens.

Very thankful for what I have and don't have.

Round and round we go

Ah what a life this is.

Sometimes we end up where we started. Reversion? Progression?

Perhaps we just are meant to be somewhere in particular.

My hoose!

Well since the sellers screwed up the last place I was going to buy I decided to be baller and buy a big hoose. Here it is. I move in at the end of the month woot. The home is 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, about 3,200 square feet. I get a room for my drums. Nuff said.

Shovel

I, too, would like to kill George Lucas with a shovel.

The prequels suck. Yes all of you know and agree.

I'm just sayin'.

Thanks Patton Oswalt for voicing the thoughts of all.

Been a while? Not really.

Since I use this site very little and utilize facebook I figure I'd either just end this little e-romance of typing to a screen for a small audience to see or, being the performer I am, open it up a little bit.

Anyways, what's been going on with me.

Life's been acceptable in an understatement to me. I actually experience joy here and there.

I'm buying a house omgoodness. We (yes, we.) picked out a beautiful home that I put an offer on yesterday. Hopefully it goes through and they accept the terms. It'll feel weird living there. But I think it'll be great. The house is spectacular and will take care of any needs, be it barbecue, sleep, the baby, etc.

Work is work. I have a job. Thankful, nuff said.

The miss. Soon mrs. I'm sure. It's nice to be treated well. I return the favor. It works as it should. Couldn't ask for more.

Chops are almost back in full shape for fall season. Fall season of symphony or a new band. Tough call. I think it's time to rock. As Twisted Sister so coolly put it, "I wanna rock". S'what I'm saying.
